Dr. David Saphian, Principal and Organizer of GNMRC, LLC

Dr. David Saphian, Principal Organizer of GNMRC, LLC, earned his M.A. in Urban Affairs and Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Both degrees emphasized quantitative and qualitative research methods in business and the social sciences. His research has been used to inform marketing and public outreach campaigns, to evaluate the functionality of a variety of program types, and to achieve operational improvements based on his findings and conclusions. He possesses the administrative experience necessary to manage research projects of any size.

Dr. Saphian formerly served as Senior Manager of Research at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, one of the world’s largest public relations and communications firms. While at Fleishman-Hillard he planned, created, conducted, and reported on survey research, program evaluations, and content analyses of media coverage focused on customer satisfaction, public opinion, marketing communications, branding, and corporate reputation. He was responsible for the assembly and management of project-based research teams, acted as liaison with high-level corporate executives at every stage of the research process, and was the managing writer and editor of business proposals and research reports produced to the highest standards. His client list included: Dell Computers, Nortel Networks, Southwestern Bell, Pacific Bell, J.D. Edwards, Sun Microsystems, Wal-Mart, SmartMoney Magazine, and the states of Minnesota and California.

After leaving Fleishman-Hillard, Dr. Saphian worked in academia. From 2002-2006, Dr. Saphian was Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at two universities. Dr. Saphian was responsible at both institutions for the creation and staffing of research and assessment offices. He implemented opinion surveys, data mining, and statistical analysis functions that evaluated and improved institutional reputation and marketing, operational performance, student performance and satisfaction, and fiscal performance.

From 2006 to the present, as Organizer of GNMRC, LLC, Dr. Saphian has provided research design and implementation, data analysis, research reporting, business system development, and grant and proposal writing services to universities, businesses, and non-profit social services organizations. GNMRC, LLC is located in St. Louis, MO, and serves clients from across the U.S. and Canada.
